The assignment was to create a poster image for the Swedish Pastry Championship 2025 in Blender – a visual that inspires, excites, and awakens the appetite for victory and sweet creations. The image had to feature at least one pastry or baked good, placed in a setting that conveys both deliciousness and the thrill of competition.
I worked with composition, lighting, and color contrast to highlight textures and forms, while also using ingredients and baking tools to build atmosphere. The lighting setup focused not only on what to illuminate, but also on the power of shadows to add depth and emotion.
No HDRIs or baked-in lighting textures were used. All lighting was created manually to retain full artistic control and ensure a clean, professional result.
